Recognition, Moving Up, and Commencement Exercises 2018!

The humid breeze tells that the school year is about to commence and the parade of individuals who proved their worth passed through the memories of the “Halls of Knowledge.”  April 25, 2018 was the date that made the days different from the other days in the school year since this proved to be the date of success.

Thirteen Preparatory students, twenty-one Grade 6 students had graduated while sixteen Grade 10 students had Moved-Up.  Along with their proud parents, relatives and guardians, the students had marked that day with gladness and gratitude.  As the candidates marched their way towards the hall, it filled the atmosphere with joy and hearts of thanksgiving.  The ceremony proceeded with the imposition of the degree completion of the honor as graduates then followed by the distribution of diplomas, giving of awards, speech of the honored speaker and the singing of the Alma Mater and graduation songs.  This year’s Graduation Guest Speaker, Mrs. Emma Rizza S. Radaza, focused on being grateful of those individuals who move you to succeed in life’s trials.  Mdme. Radaza also reiterated that graduation does not imply the end of everything but rather a beginning of a new chapter.  Never take for granted in living one’s life meaningfully and that they should always “stand their ground” to uphold what is right.  Never be boastful on what you have achieved.  Do not boast yourself but remain humble and be grateful to your teachers, parents and persons who helped you along the way.  Likewise, our Recognition Day speaker was Mrs. Lou Angelique Heruela.  Mrs. Heruela reiterated the message of hardwork and perseverance quoting messages of well-known individuals who contributed much in our world.  Mrs. Heruela, too, reverberated on how one should aspire for greatness and never lose humility once you have achieved your dreams.

Other students who also excel in their different skills or field of interests were given due recognition like in sports, performing arts, debates, Scholastics and others.  Special awards were also awarded to students who made exemplary contributions to the rest of the Paulinian family.

May the achievements of these exemplary young Paulinians continue to inspire others in achieving their dreams and doing their best in all of their endeavors.  to God be the Glory! Congratulations!
