Cooperative Learning (CL) strategy, that is, the instructional use of small groups so that pupils/students work together to maximize their own and each other’s learning is employed. Cooperative effort is needed in order to ensure direct, active involvement and participation of pupils/students in the learning tasks.
We also adopt the SMILE (Strategically Modified Interactive-Independent Learning Experience) Program where the students are taught to be independent and reflective learners.
St. Paul believes in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities as essential to the life of the school. Thus, varied experiences and learning situations are planned out for the whole school year. Theses provide an admirable opportunity for our staff’s to know the children better in a more informal atmosphere. All experiences will hopefully lead the children to develop their own values that would govern raltionship with others.
