PALADINS BADMINTON TEAM SECONDARY RULES IN THE 8TH PRIVATE SCHOOL DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE

The 8th Private School Developmental League Badminton Events proved to be much worth to celebrate!  As the events unfurled on the third Saturday of January, our boys and girls teams in the Secondary Level were on their toes to show their best for this school year’s PSDL – Badminton.  Before the actual event, our teams had been preparing and on training not just for this league but also for the other sporting meet for this sports.  Until the day of reckoning came to don to the teams who proved to be the champions.

Competition days were more exhilarating as teams from other schools who also won in the different DepEd sanctioned competitions showed strength and agility.  Two teams left for the boys category competed to grab the “cup”.   Springdale Boys Team, termed as “The Giant” in this event, fought so hard to retain the crown for three years but our boys team who came prepared and had mastered the technique proved to the other team that they deserved to take the championship crown.  Indeed, the secondary boys team captured the crown.

As the girls fought hard, they never gave up as they moved to higher rank this year in the girls secondary category.  From last years sixth place, our girls team moved up to fourth place.  This event has the participation of the different school’s team of the Province of Cebu.

For next year, we will be there to defend the crown in the boys category and be in the medal podium for the girls secondary event.  To all our teams, CONGRATULATIONS!
