The much awaited INTRAMURAL 2017 commenced last September 20-22, 2017.   After the series of elimination rounds for the past weeks and the grueling rehearsals for the calisthenics event, the sporting days proved to be test of our athletes’ mettle in their different events.  The different teams namely, THE BLUE POSEIDON, THE GREEN APOLLOS, THE RED CHRONOS, AND THE YELLOW ARES had the games leveled up high as they compete not just for prowess but also to establish camaraderie among all Paulinians.  With the spirit so high like a soaring eagle, teachers alike wholeheartedly guided our students in their different presentations.

The competition gets into spotlight with the sporting days was officially opened as the THE FLAMES OF THE GAMES was passed from one torch bearer to another and culminated with the lighting of urn by our nationally and internationally awarded athletes.  As the flames of the games made its way, all athletes were reminded of the through essence of the games which is athleticism.

Athletes hurdled the different traditional sports like basketball, volleyball, table tennis, soccer baseball, chess and scrabbles.  Parlor games also had all the challenges participated by the students in the lower elementary level.

Heavy downpour did not dampen the Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2017 on the last day of the Intramural days.  Candidates strutted on stage in the different competitions of pageant like the production number, sporting event, school uniform event and formal wear event.  Awards were also given to the winners of the Best Photogenic, People’s Choice Award and the other minor prizes.  Loud cheers from the different teams had made our candidates even more confident.  True enough, all of the candidates had that IT factor.  Congratulations to all the winners and the organizers of this year’s Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2017 and the INTRAMURAL 2017.
